Support and security updates
What is included with your license, how long we provide security updates, and how to reach us.
Security updates: AlfaNest Labs provides security patches for the current major version for a minimum of 24 months from your purchase date, or until the next major version is released and a migration path is available — whichever is longer.
What is included with your license
- All minor and patch releases within the major version you purchased.
- Security patches for known vulnerabilities in bundled libraries (pdf.js, JSZip, etc.).
- Bug fixes for core accounting features.
- Email support for setup and usage questions (response within 3 business days).
What is not included
- New major features introduced in a future paid major version.
- Support for browser environments or operating systems that have reached end-of-life.
- Accounting or tax advice — EI BNC Compta is a tool, not a certified accounting service.
- Data recovery if you clear browser storage without a backup.
How updates are distributed
EI BNC Compta is a single-file application. Updates are published on the download page linked in your license confirmation email. You replace the current index.html with the new version. No automatic update mechanism is installed on your device.
We notify license holders of security-relevant updates by email when a patch addresses a known vulnerability.
End-of-support notice
When a version reaches end of support, we will announce it at least 90 days in advance by email to license holders and on the product page. After that date, no further patches are issued for that version.
